Simone has over 25 years experience as a Speech Pathologist and loves working with children. Her philosophy is that children learn through play, so therefore therapy needs to be fun and engaging. An individual program is planned in partnership with the parents and graduated goal-driven activities expand on the child’s strengths. Simone’s positive and happy approach keeps the children involved, participating and learning.
She has worked with a wide range of speech, language, communication and social difficulties since graduating from La Trobe University. Simone has worked locally since the early 1990’s including time at The Williamstown Hospital, Sunshine and Alfred Hospitals. She has been in private practice in the area since 2000,
Simone started a Diploma of Education in Primary Teaching while on maternity leave, before deciding her passion was in working with the communication needs of children individually and in small groups. She brings an educational focus to her Speech Therapy sessions.
